Just taking a vitamin to give yourself the essential vitamins seems like enough. The problem is that it is not enough. Not only is it not enough to fulfill your needs, some multivitamins may be hurting you more than they help.

Quite a disturbing stat if you ask me. This is just one study among many. The point is that receiving your daily nutrients from healthy foods is the correct way. Next time you go shopping make sure you did some research on whats nutrients are in each meal and keep track. It’s a very healthy and clean lifestyle that will payoff in the end.
One might think that you would have to spend a lot of money on food to keep up with your daily nutrients. Obviously its going to cost money but research has shown that buying the correct foods in bulk should actually be cheaper than the multivitamins. You have to buy food anyways to survive so you might as well eliminate the vitamins from your shopping list. Convenience is always nice but not when it could potentially be harming your body and practically stealing your money. The easy way out isn’t always the only way out.
